Betas Raise Money for 2009 UW Relay For Life

The Beta Omega chapter is once again participating in the University of Washington’s Relay for Life on May 9^th at Husky Stadium! The active chapter will be dividing up into teams and walking around the track for 24 hours straight in solidarity to support the American Cancer Society and their valiant efforts: to eradicate cancer once and for all.

During the month of April, we held our annual Dragon Cup Soccer Tournament for the sororities in the Greek system. The philanthropy raised over $1,000 and had over three quarters of all sororities participating. Besides the tournament, we had nighttime activities that included skits, a pasta feed and movies on the Beach. The money raised is a great base for our team’s goal of $16,000, but now we need your help!
