Our chapter received some major recognition this quarter, from both the University of Washington Interfraternity Council (IFC) and our General Fraternity.
In February, a group of members attended the Keystone Leadership Conference in Bellevue, where awards were given for excellence in our region. Beta Omega won three of the four awards given at the event, including the Leadership Development Award, Self-Governance Award, and Member Education Award.
Just a few weeks ago, we racked up another slew of awards at the IFC Awards banquet, at which chapters were honored for excellence in our own Greek system.
As a chapter, Beta Omega were also the big winners of the evening being recognized with the awards for Excellence in Academic Programming, Excellence in Greek Relations, Outstanding Community Service Efforts, Excellence in Chapter Programming and the big one, Chapter of the Year!
It brings great pride to see our members and chapter recognized as such, and it is a wonderful tribute to the determination and hard work of the members of our chapter.
Yours in _kai_,
David Dever
