Beta's Place First in Greek System for Fall Quarter Grades

Attached is a letter from the UW, which was hand-delivered to Jim Clack, UW AIFC President and Beta Omega Housing Board President, on January 29th 2009 by UW officials.  The letter speaks not only about academics, but about involvement in IFC and about good relations with the university.

A special thanks to the following bros:

1.  Kyle Thomas (past president), Rob Meussner (past VP) and Max Harden
(past president) for ensuring that the chapter didn't just say, but lived,
the words Cultivation of the Intellect, and for including academic success
as one of the key components in the chapter's plan for excellence and tying
such success to key privileges.

2. Adam Garrison (past scholarship chair), Malcolm Naftulin (past pledge
educator), Robbie Stotler (past rush chair and current social chair) and Wes
Thomas (past asst pledge educator and current pledge educator) for providing
great advice and follow-up to the pledges and actives with regard to simple
steps to succeed academically.

3.  Cartter Berg (past IFC president), Kevin Durkin (past IFC judicial board
member and current chapter president), Alec Maghami (current IFC Vice
President-Administration), Alex Pascualy (current IFC judicial board member)
and Peter Wilson (current IFC delegate) for excellent IFC involvement and
for strengthening our relationships with the UW and the community.
