We at Beta Theta Pi take great pride in providing one of the premier housing options for students at the University of Washington. The house itself can hold up to 85 members comfortably, and no room must sleep more than four men. We also have a quieter section of the house for more senior members that includes seven singles. All rooms are fully customizable, and as you can see below in the pictures, many members go all out decorating their rooms.
Most importantly, members are extremely conscientious about the condition of the house and refrain from causing excessive or unnecessary damage. If something does break or is in need of repair, we have two house managers that can dispatch a handyman from one of our multiple contractors with as little as 24 hours notice. Due to the high retention rate of live-ins, our housing board can afford to make large scale improvements every quarter, such as remodeling bathrooms, re-carpeting every few years, and ensuring the structure of our house is always safe. These projects are always voted on by the chapter, and every member has input.
For the same reason, Beta Theta Pi contracts professional cleaners to deep clean and sanitize every carpeted area, bathroom, shower, and kitchen on a quarterly basis. The house is fully vacuumed, bathrooms are cleaned, dishes are washed, and floors are mopped on a daily basis to ensure that our house is well maintained every day.
Finally, here is a list of some of the amenities that our house can provide:
